Okay guys, guess it’s time to announce that I’m ‘officially’ in away mode and on a movie making hiatus, since to be honest, I don’t have this much desire left to be dealing with Sims 2 anymore. This includes pretty much everything, movies, hacks or even just playing..

Now as for the sims 3, yes i can’t wait to play it, i really hope  the game play will feel more realistic and more advanced, esp when it comes to sim ppl AI’s.
Now as for the movies, like seriously, i think it won’t be after a year after the release before some decent movies could be made with it. Hope I’m wrong, but this is how it was with sims 2. First people got into playing with it, making custom content, and developing hacks and just after that, movie makers had at least some tools at their disposal…
At this point I can’t even say for sure if i will be making movies with sims 3, as well, I’ve no idea what the moviemaking aspect of the game will look like. But what i really really want is making my own 3d animated movies and not be limited by game platforms anymore. currently i’m learning to use 3d editors, so we’ll see what happens.

So to sum this all up, I’ll be in ‘away’ mode.. so I won’t be spending too much time on the site, meaning i may take a loong time to reply, so if you are looking some ‘help’ you know this is not the right place, kay.

Now another small update, if you go to my about me page, you wont see an empty space anymore. I just had this plan of making an awesome page with lost of scripts going on but guess i was too lazy for that so i just put together a brief intro n stuff…

I also remade the mp4’s of my movies, now the the format is more suitable for iPods, so here’s the mp4 links for all of my movies again:

Well I thought I’d make at least some update, cuz the site has been real dead lately.. Anyways I thought this one would be fun, so here’s some stuff you had no idea about or always wanted to know but were too afraid to ask lol

The storyline was inspired partially by the original video, as there was the funeral in the church and I got some associations with weddings and partially by the short story titled ‘The Ghost’ that I started but never finished writing(bathroom and bedroom scene)

At first I was deciding between Gerard committing suicide and getting killed, just the 1st version seemed way too pathetic and the 2nd way too brutal to me.. just when i heard “Not A fashion Statement…” song I knew that the 2nd option was the right way to continue the story

At first I wanted to build the exact same church as in MCR video, but I couldn’t quite make it, but you still can catch some resemblance in the church layout

White is Helena’s ‘color’.. you can see her wearing sth white almost in every scene

I was deciding between blue and green eyes for Helena for 20 minutes. Still, I went with blue ones because they felt ‘right’ for the character

The woman in red dress is the typical rich girl stereotype and she is contrasted to young Helena. When I was shooting the 1st scene, I expected it to be a bit longer than just 13 seconds, so according to my original plan, Helena was supposed to look at her with jealousy..

In the very beginning when you see random shots made in the park, you see the back of sb’s jacket that says ‘how do you sleep’ which sorta refers to Gerard being in a coma… impossible to notice in the movie, but still a pretty cool thing

“Don’t stop..” words are not what Gerard wrote in yearbook at the very beginning. Helena actually never found out what exactly he wrote there because she was way too excited about the upcoming date with Jack

When Helena falls on her knees you can see the star shoot.. this was made on purpose, as the song contains ‘every starfall brought you to tears again’ lyrics

In the same scene you can notice one thing that I overlooked.. she doesn’t have the ring on.. but that’s because I was using another sim and had forgotten to marry her.. I’ve found out about it when sb pointed that out on sims forum :P

The words on the mirror and in the yearbook were taken from other MCR songs

There is an ‘alternative’ ending scene where Helena walks out of the house and gets into the taxi.. which actually inspired me to make the actual ‘very last scene’ which I thought was working way better for the story

I meant to make a happy ending scene where Helena leaves the house and meets Gerard on the bus station, but it all didn’t seem ‘right’ to me, so I gave up the idea

All events occurred during 1 year: spring/summer when they were still at college, autumn when Helena said goodbye to Gerard, winter when Helena married Jack and spring/summer when the main action was taking place..

There were 1600 files in my Movies folder when I finished the project (I usually delete the most unseccessful ones)

I had to make over 50 recolors/objects with changed properties (not counting bodyshop recolors)

I really wish the movie was 10 minutes long

There will be no Helena sequel :) Sorry bout that.. many ppl actually were asking me about it, but if you think, the story IS over, everything is clear (at least after you read my explanations lol) yep the final ‘happy ending’ scene when Helena meets Gerard again is not there, but I doubt it would really fit in.

Today I found out about it even before I managed to visit sims99, as I usually check my mail first. So I received several gb comments telling me that I won again!
Wow! Thank you guys for all your support, nice comments and just taking the time to watch the movie :) also what really amazed me is that it even had the highest percentage of votes in all sims99 history :)

I’ve uploaded 2 main characters from the movie as they’ve been requested several times. Not all the original parts were allowed to be redistributed so I had to look for replacements.
Hair meshes are not included, you need to follow the links that I gave in description

Well I was changing their facial expressions all the time while making the movie, so they might look a bit different from the sims in different parts of the movie
