Okay, let’s make it official…
Well, those of you who somehow got this suspicion about my sudden ‘come back’ and all the updates I’ve been making lately, well yeah they are not without a reason.
Yes, I’ve been secretly working on something. Haven’t told many people because I had no idea how things would go anyways. Like whats the point of making a stir when the release date could be just a month away or it could as well be 4 months away? I had no control over it. I couldn’t work on it *all* or most of the time like I basically did with my other movies. Now there were always some things that would be more urgent than the movie. I started making it sometime in october last year. And then I would occasionally come back to it when i was in a mood.. which caused very very long breaks…. I almost finished it now, as I had some free time and I knew I wouldn’t have it later, so it was one of these ‘now or never’ things and In fact it’s been 99% finished for over a week, I just been waiting for my computer upgrade to make the final edit and in the meantime, I was just redoing my site..
The movie is not that great, but what sucks even more is that everyone is excpecting me to come up with some goddamn masterpiece.. and too high expectatins kill the fun. and it’s nothing that special.. just.. a movie is that better? :P
Don’t think I’ll post a trailer this time. As I just don’t get what’s the point in making a 30 seconds [<-- and this was my hint :P and besdes the song was on my myspace ]trailer for a movie which is 5 minutes long but well i could tease you just a bit with some raw facts :P
Well the movie is set in the future and has this sci-fi/action vibe. The band’s name starts with a number and the movie title could’ve been Runaway, although it will be same as the title of the song. Not as romantic as my other movies, although it was supposed to be, but things didn’t exactly go according to the plan and it will also have an unsolved/interrupted ending, although unlike helena, it is supposed to be followed by a sequel, which i may or may not make eventually.
I don’t know when I’m gonna post it, as you know it’s not just about a movie anymore.. rendering right size takes time, uploading takes time, reuploading takes time (as i’m sure it will happen), making storyline page takes time and the early versions of faq’s too… so yeah don’t ask me when. I personally want to release it as soon as possible. So this post was just to let you know that you should check back later when youre bored or something, as my new movie could be up sometime :) so yea stay tuned!

Suspicious, nah, I knew laughs, its about time, should not worry so much about the expectations and just enjoy it, besides your most likely your own worst cridict anyhow, most are. Sci Fi that sounds interesting, gets a ticket and waits :)

well i’m not worried about your expectations guys, as i can always talk to you on ms and say how much i hate sims for not doing things i want them to do or how stressful the life has been and all that lame excuses stuff :P but alot of ppl will just.. HUH??? that’s IT?? so yea that sux but whatever jeez it’s just sims it’s not like my life depends on it i don’t care THAT much at the end of the day.

Oh, I’m sure this will be a great vid too, jaydee :) The only sad thing being so famous is that people always will be waiting for better and better products. But again, I’m so sure you’ll do it great again ;)
I’ve a question, not about release date, but: Are you gonna release it at sims99, or only here and youtube? :)

Well, you said you are an perfectionist :) and for those kind of ppl almost nothing is enough for them. everything must be more than perfect to make them happy… i’m kinda them same… it’s a bit stressing… so, that means that your new movie will be more than amaizing.
ohh… and i think i targeted the band’s name… it’s too obviously : is it 30 seconds to mars ? hihi ^.^

I agree you are your own worst critic, I can relate, every time I finish a movie I think it sucks. I’m sure the movie will turn out great :)
As for the band….I’m guessing Sevendust?

haha yeeah.. ‘thanks’ for the reminder, thank god you’re exaggerating this all quite a bit :P

well yeah it’s mostly true, but i just can’t spend an eternity on one movie so that’s when my laziness kicks in.:P just some parts were HARD to make. that’s why they didn’t turn out very ugh.. ‘perfect’

Jaydee, I never expect you to be a perfectionist. Sure you like to make movies … when you have the time. Some people just need to realize that you have a life too. And you shouldn’t worry about other people’s expectations; just focus on you own =)
Although, I am a HUGE fan of your movies. So I just wanna tell you excellent job!

um i really like ur vids and i love the way u make the cast…they look awsome. i found a site that said when making a movie u should make doubles so u can have the emotions right for the scene. i can do that stuff but..im better off writing my tragic love stories bout vampires and androids lol

JD, you are so amazing at making sim movies! But seriously, unlike some other, (lmao), im gonna tell you: take as MUCH time as you could possibly want to make them. Everyone knows it takes a long time to make a great piece, and frankly, sometimes the work gets boring. So anyway, I just want to say, great job and i admire you lots for making such great vids! Thanks!
