Officially On Hiatus
Okay guys, guess it’s time to announce that I’m ‘officially’ in away mode and on a movie making hiatus, since to be honest, I don’t have this much desire left to be dealing with Sims 2 anymore. This includes pretty much everything, movies, hacks or even just playing..
Now as for the sims 3, yes i can’t wait to play it, i really hope the game play will feel more realistic and more advanced, esp when it comes to sim ppl AI’s.
Now as for the movies, like seriously, i think it won’t be after a year after the release before some decent movies could be made with it. Hope I’m wrong, but this is how it was with sims 2. First people got into playing with it, making custom content, and developing hacks and just after that, movie makers had at least some tools at their disposal…
At this point I can’t even say for sure if i will be making movies with sims 3, as well, I’ve no idea what the moviemaking aspect of the game will look like. But what i really really want is making my own 3d animated movies and not be limited by game platforms anymore. currently i’m learning to use 3d editors, so we’ll see what happens.
So to sum this all up, I’ll be in ‘away’ mode.. so I won’t be spending too much time on the site, meaning i may take a loong time to reply, so if you are looking some ‘help’ you know this is not the right place, kay.
Now another small update, if you go to my about me page, you wont see an empty space anymore. I just had this plan of making an awesome page with lost of scripts going on but guess i was too lazy for that so i just put together a brief intro n stuff…
I also remade the mp4’s of my movies, now the the format is more suitable for iPods, so here’s the mp4 links for all of my movies again:

Oh no,Jaydee, your like my favorite Sims 2 movie maker,better than the rest. You inspired me to make my own, >.> But,they don’t turn out to well,but ^_^;

Hey jaydee! I really like your movies and I’m very sorry to see you go! My sister is a HUGE fan, in fact, she never shuts up about you! Needless to say she is OBSESSED in the Sims 2! I just gotta say, I liked Helena and From Yesterday the best. Especially Helena!

It’s sad to read your quitting sims 2 movies for now. Your movies are great. Oh and by the way, just to let others know since you are not around to fix this problem, all of jaydee’s movies can’t be downloaded for some reason. I really want to show my friends your cool movies to them on the bus.

Well I do hope that you feel inspired again once the new sims come out. Here’s hoping its decent. Although it seems so far they are following the ‘formula’ of the other games and giving a basic game then all the cool stuff in eps… Why can’t they give us a good chunk, then give us NEW stuff in the packs? Seriously… I’m going to hold off on the new game myself until some of the combo packs come out that have at least the full basic game that way.
Sorry to hear about there being copywrite issues (which ones might I ask?) that keeps you from having the movies downloadable. I know I downloaded them and have them on my Ipod and computer to watch.
Anyway, I do have to say your movie making skills with the platform system is awesome. You do a wonderful job and if you do go into rendering your own movies, I do hope you give us at least an update of where they will be if not here! I would adore to see them!

Ah, that bites that you’re going on haitus, but it’s your life and you should do what you want to/have to/think you need to(/et cetera) do. At least you got a few totally awsome videos in and…had fun along the way, right? I suppose the part that’s the worst for me about your going on haitus is that I just found out about your music videos and actually started watching them…last night…and that most of the other videos on your links out are nowhere near as good, but it’s okay.
Also, I read your list of things you don’t like about The Sims 3, and I’m convinced not to waste my money on it. Thanks! I think I’ll keep focusing on The Sims 2 (which I just got the game for the PC a few months ago, so it’s still fun for me ^^).

I have a great idea for The Sims 4 (if they ever make it, hopefully)…they can mash all the sims games ever created together to make one big sims world…like, you can make your sims look like the sims in the sims 2, and you can have the awesome graphics of the sims 3, and you can have the hilarious interactions of the sims 1, sims 2, and sims 3. just sayin’.
