1. Helena flagged on youtube
Yep, after over a year of being on the site it suddenly had to be flagged as ‘inappropriate for minors’. Now the movie lost its honors and everyone is leaving comments asking why it was flagged and so on, man I’ve no idea myself!
So far I’ve heard alot of stuff about the video, but I never heard anyone complaining about the ‘nudity’ or violence. Supposedly people under 18 can’t watch this, so it has to be.. R rating!? Man don’t be ridiculous! Because if you look at it, here’s all “mature” content which movie contains:
1 or 1.5 seconds of sims drinking
5 seconds of sim being in the shower, yes she is naked, but no ‘private parts’ are exposed
Also some violence like sims hitting each other
1sec or a glimpse of bloodshed but on youtube the quality is so low you can barely see it..
And not to forget, those are not even real people! It’s just pixels, you gotta be really outta your mind to give a movie R rating because of that!
Well, I just thought I’d rant about it…There’s not much can be done over this now I guess, as it wasn’t automatic, it was reviewed by some youtube employee. …………….*cough*Really sick in the head I must add.*cough*

3. Fakers/other people with no lives and sick imagination
Well, I don’t think I officially have a faker yet.. well, none that i know of. ( I do have more important things to do then looking up my own self on google), but once in a while I get messages like ‘hiii what’s up it’s meeee!’ and I’d be like ‘ um.. do I know you?’
Or somebody would just ask me if it’s true that their friend actually knows me.. Like this gb entry i got recently is a really typical example:
“hi my name is tony, my friand shaniah D. says that she is your cousin and she helped you make the sk8er boi video. i dont really belive her though because of your popularity. so send me something back saying if it is true.8-)(i am yomi)”
So here’s the truth people:
I have no siblings and no cousins.. well at least none who I actually met.
I could count on fingers my real life friends who care about my internet life or sims movies. But those who do, wouldn’t see the point in boasting about it. So if your ‘friend’ claims hat they know me.. 99.9% they are lying. But next time you see them, do tell them that Jaydee said hi and also tell them she said they are sad pathetic liars without lives. (eh too bad i’m trying to keep this blog curse-free)

4. The moon
WARNING: Alot of people have reported about these objects not showing up properly. Download at your own risk!
I also remade the moon, because too many people were asking about it..
And of course I couldn’t hold myself from making some recolors :P so here’s a set of some funky lighting effects for nightclubs concert stages, abstract music video sets and so on.
Well this is the new mesh it’s about 2 storeys high and it uses 1024X1024 texture so the detail comes out pretty good. The downside of it is that it will look good only from 1 side.. if you rotate the cam around it, it will become visible that the model is flat.
The moon itself is the base object which contains the mesh, so you must download it in order for the recolors to work.
And I guess you’ll need to have university, as I cloned it from that weird yellow heart sculpture thing. It’ll be found under decorative sculpture and will cost 6 simoleons (sorry i can never spell that right)
Feel free to recolor, but I’d appreciate it if you pointed people here so that they could download the mesh here.

Yea, it was extremely annoying that your video was flagged. I mean my little sister can watch it without a problem, so what the heck is wrong with that beer bellied, balding sap! Sorry I have to rant too. I really loved it, but at least you still have it on your vlog. And thanks for the moon, I’ve always been wondering if you would re-make it.

OMG!!! When I went to the Helena movie yesterday I was like “WHAT!!! What do they mean “inappropriate” content!?!” Sorry if I’m a bit random, But I’m just a little angry, that movie was sooooo awesome!!! And those two screenshots are so awesome! Every screenshot you take is awesome, even if they’re just random! >=D

Sorry, don’t think so. I tested it with base game only and it didn’t show up. Sorry bout that it’s just my first object which is meant to be recolorable.. I thought that thing came with nightlife and many people have it, but then it turned out i was wrong..

Fascinating…=D But I have just a couple more things to say…You made the Helena Movie last year right? Well I was on youtube(again) to see if there was anything interesting to watch, when I found YOUR movie under someone else’s name! (and it wasn’t flagged) but obviously since this unflagged one was an exact copy of yours it says “made by JayDee” right in the beginning. I just thought you might want to know…=D

I’m sure sorry to hear that somebody went and flagged Heleana! There is nothing inappropriate about your movie at all! If all else you could always just have it uploaded here on your site if Youtube keeps being a pain in the bum!

Thanks JD- but I’m having trouble with the moon- I downloaded the whole package including the mesh, and I have the university EP but it doesn’t seem to be working properly. One side is transparent (which I think is normal) but the other side (where I think the moon should be) is all pink.

How come the hair on guppy sims seems thinner then the hair on Young Helena?

Yeah i know there’s lots of ppl who uploaded the very same file.. at least they give me credits… but yeah it’s just unfair that only mine had to be flagged, agree..

Maybe b/c helena was also wearing bangs? i’m not sure if she did in the begining though.. i’d have to rewatch it… but i didn’t modify that hair in any way.. maybe it just seems like that in the movie? or sth…

The youtube employee who flagged helena was REALLY messed up in the head. What the heck were they thinking? Helena rocks, always will rock, and, heck, I know some 9-year-old who put it on her iPod!

Hi JD- I didn’t have the CEP so I installed from modthesims2: but unfortunately the lighting effects still don’t show up (still showing up as pink walls).
However, if I drag the effect into a place where the game cannot put it (for example inside a piece of furniture) a ‘ghostlike’ image of the effect will briefly appear in place of the pink wall.
Sorry, if this isn’t making sense- it might just be a problem with my computer (I have a Mac) but I just thought I’d let you know.

Thats odd, hate the fact that it had to happen to you. There are worst adult content on YT. I must say myself i have Room 227 with umm… tons of adult content and its my highest viewed film. i am afraid I f I become popular it will be flagged. Anyway, Thanks for the moon and lightrays. Same thing happened to me, I downloaded the moon, and one side is flashing pink, the other side is transparent, the only time it works is if you hover it over somewhere you can’t place it (example: the road, or a tree on the lot, ect.) but obviously that’s still no good, I don’t know what could be wrong… :/

Well.. seems like all that stuff is not working for most of you.. i’m no big expert when it comes to this stuff so i’m not sure how to fix it.. i’m surprised that it actually worked for me lol.. so i guess i’m gonna have to just put up a warning so that ppl knew that those are tad messed up and they are downloading them at their own risk… if anybody knows how i could fix them… the help would be much appreciated..

well, it’s not the biggest ‘problem’ that video has.. right now it’s unaccessible even by me because of the wmg copyright bitches
