uhm. its not worked.

Postby alice on 10 Mar 2007

:? It hasn't worked! All I got in my game was the TS2 one from ModTheSims2! I didn't even download that one. I really really want the Open for Business and Seasons ones (I have both expansions) and they are not working.

By the way I love your movie called Helena. It's fabulous

Firstly - thankyou so much for your animation boxes! :D They have helped massively with my stories and films! <3

This may seem like a dumb question, but does the overlay options actually work as overlays? (for instance, you could have a sim sitting down, writing on a 'clipboard') if they do, then how do they work? I'm a bit blonde and can't exactly get my sims to do it...

no, it doesn't work as overlay.. it just can be used along with overlay. it depends on the animation though. basically you use paul's reaction tester for upper body part and then you use animations from overlay menu for lower body parts. there might be some other overlay type of interactions included in the boxes.. like 'weather.../hot../low' that's when you use a lower body pose first, cancel it and apply the actual overlay interaction.

specific animation on OFB

Postby StephyDee on 03 Jun 2007

Hey! Before I ask anything, I just wanna tell you how much I am in luv with ur movies! They ROCK! lol...anyway, my question is.....you know the animation where the manager lays off an employee, where they whisper in their ear? You used it in ur Helena video during the bedroom scene, and I just wanted to know if it was in the OFB box. I've looked for it everywhere, but I can't find it. I'm suspecting it's one of the ones you said weren't working when you were making it, so you deleted it, but I hope not, cuz I love that animation! :)

you don't have to doubleclick on it, just put it there and leave it there!

I have The Sims 2 Open for Business, but unfortunately I accidentally uninstalled it... and now I can't find the disc... So... I'm guessing OFB is required for this object... isn't it?

Blue,
well it's not like it's 'required. it will still show up, but most animations will not work. there's just a couple ones that should work with base game like plead on knees and hangout if you have uni

Do you have to put the zip file in a certain folder? I put it in the Downloads foler. Is that Correct? And to unzip it you have to extract it? Right?

This box was perfect for my episode where the main character of my TV show Kenton's Legacy, Kenton Farnsworth, gets poisoned. I did the 'drink bad lemonade' animation while using the cheat box for holding objects (a glass of blue liquid). My students crack up every time.

Jaydee, you da grrl!

Files,
yep pretty much.. just remove the .zip file from your downloads folder afterwards, so that it didn't clog up your game

And thanks ImaniOU, glad you find it useful! :D

123URME,
You're welcome!!
