• The storyline was in some way inspired by the original video, as there was the funeral in the church and I got some associations with weddings and also by the short story titled 'The Ghost' that I started but never finished writing(bathroom and bedroom scene)

  • At first I was deciding between Gerard committing suicide and getting killed, just the 1st version seemed way too pathetic and the 2nd way too brutal to me.. just when I heard "Not A fashion Statement..." song I knew that the 2nd option was the right way to continue the story

  • The woman in red dress is the typical rich girl stereotype and she is contrasted to young Helena. When I was shooting the 1st scene, I expected it to be a bit longer than just 13 seconds, so according to my original plan, Helena was supposed to look at her with envy..

  • In the very beginning when you see random shots made in the park, you see the back of someone's jacket which says 'how do you sleep' which sorta refers to Gerard being in a coma... impossible to notice in the movie, but still a pretty cool detail
  • "Don't stop.." words are not what Gerard wrote in yearbook at the very beginning. Helena actually never found out what exactly he wrote there because she was way too excited about the upcoming date with Jack

  • When Helena falls on her knees you can see the star shoot.. this was made on purpose, as the song has 'every starfall brought you to tears again' lyrics

  • There will be no Helena sequel :) Sorry about that.. many people actually were asking me about it, but if you think of it, the story IS over, everything is clear (at least after you read my explanations lol) yep the final 'happy ending' scene when Helena meets Gerard again is not there, but I doubt it would really fit in.
