Using 'Overlay' Option of Paul's Reaction Tester
What is overlay?
It's a type of animation which is played over another animation or body position. Overlay animations can include all bones of the Sims' body, but usually they are limited to certain body parts. This way, you can 'combine' two interactions into one. For example, this is how I made a sim cry on her knees in my Helena movie. Using Paul's reaction tested I made her cry and then I made her plead on the knees with one of my hacked boxes. As a result, the Sim started crying on her knees, as crying animation is only performed on the upper body half.
Here's how you make it work:
1. Click on Flags pie menu string

2. Choose "Set Prefer Overlay"

3. When you choose one of reactions and a dialog window comes up, choose overlay

Now the interaction icon will
disappear immediately and you will be able to tell a sim do some other
things, while their upper body part will still be playing the animation from reaction tester.
So this is cry-mild interaction + plead on knees
Here's a few more examples:
Why me + Hangout sit crosslegged

Attraction + hangout sit crosslegged
Cry mild + woohoo in elevator/photobooth reject -ee
